Microsoft Surface Book! Worth a shot?
In the world of powerful tablets and Pro and the late Air, Microsoft has revealed a new set of powerful computers called Surface Book. One of them is a dream machine for studio professionals, while another is a powerful machine, and I quote, “don’t compare it with the Macs”.
This time, Microsoft did right despite its short tenure with hardware. Presenting the Microsoft Surface Book. It all started with the lofty promise that its Surface tablet could replace your laptop. Well, let’s scoop into it without further delay.
For introduction, I would like to say it as a perfect laptop that even pops off as a tablet. Oh yeah! The futuristic design and that awesome display with touchscreen and effortless tablet separation provides it with the space that has not been taken before and with a windows logo. After doing hit and trial with Surface Models, finally it was on the Surface 3 that showed positive response. Quoting it as the ‘ultimate laptop’, the new dynamic fulcrum hinge and addition of sleek tablet mode makes it a mouthwatering deal. With options starting from around $1400, it might be the best thing Microsoft made after the windows (deep laugh).
It comes with configuration of following numbers and price value. The base model starts from around $1400 and steps up to $3300 in rounded up figure. The highest of all features 1 TB storage, Intel Core i7- 16 GB with dedicated GPU and features 16 hours of battery life. The claim has yet to be featured and tested.
Including the surface pen, it has excellent accuracy and can be used for professional art works. Beyond all the gimmicks, the surface book packs an excellent punch. With claims of battery life around 16 hours, top notch performance, the handy tablet mode, excellent hinge (trademarked of sort), the surface book is nothing short of tricks.
But even If we pull off the gimmicks, it still packs a punch. Underneath all the extra stuff, the Surface Book is a solid laptop in terms of ergonomics, performance and, yes, even battery life despite the promises. Despite being this sort of ultrabook with Microsoft’s signature on it, the surface book is a trait that will create a new hype.
So, will you buy the Surface Book? With no major change on the 2017 Mac book models, it might be a good choice for most of the consumer. Comparison with the Macbook is here.
